Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Advisor

We are looking for an Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Advisor. You will work with our HSE Manager and project teams to ensure our well management and well operator projects comply with the applicable regulatory requirements, industry best practice and corporate governance. This is a position where a significant focus will be on the environmental aspects, you will provide support and guidance in compliance to achieve the highest environmental standards and performance.

The successful candidate will also support the HSE Manager in legislative and operational matters, supporting and maintaining professional relationships with regulators (OPRED, HSE, OSDR, NSTA), customers and stakeholders.

There will also be the requirement for visits offshore.

About you:

• You will likely be at the early stages of your career and looking to develop your understanding of the offshore oil and gas business
• Understanding of UK environmental legislative requirements related to offshore oil and gas operations
• Experienced with the day-to-day activities associated with developing, submitting and managing permits
• Good communicator with strong interpersonal skills
• The ability and desire to build and maintain strong professional relationships
• Organised and self-motivated, you will have a proactive and inquisitive nature
• Strong IT skills with the ability to develop and deliver professional reports and presentations
• Be able to manage competing demands for your time and effectively prioritise those tasks
• You will have a relevant degree (Science or Engineering etc.) or demonstrable track record in environmental management

This staff role will be based in the UK (either Aberdeen or Great Yarmouth office) location to be determined based on successful applicant, this job is open to candidates who have the demonstrated right to work in the UK.
