Your professional network and industry reputation and public profile and track record of thought leadership will enable you to support the bank's external engagement with regulators, central banks and governments, NGOs and the markets.
You will possess excellent knowledge of land degradation, agriculture systems, commercial agriculture, biomass and energy crops, food processing and supply chains, water stress and soil health are a must.
To be successful within this position you will also have:
• Deep expertise on climate change and land-use including low-carbon technologies, decarbonisation pathways, regulatory and policy levers, carbon budgets, science-based targets, climate analytics, and both transition and physical climate risk. • Strong technical understanding of land degradation, agriculture systems, commercial agriculture, biomass and energy crops, food processing and supply chains, water stress and soil health and the technologies, processes and practices that can mitigate emissions. • Experience in leadership roles, ideally in an agriculture or land-use industry, NGO, or relevant research and consulting field, with a track record of outstanding achievements. • Experience working in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment and managing multiple stakeholders across large organizations.
