DevOps Engineer- SC Cleared

We are IT Recruitment Specialists partnered with a prestigious Global Consultancy who require an SC Cleared Devops Engineer for one of their Public sector Clients based in Croydon. This role will currently be remote. This role is inside of IR35

Devops Engineer

Location- Croydon/Remote

Must be SC Cleared

Interview process: 1 or 2 stage phone interviews

Requirements centring around base technology:

• AWS - need to have been using it as their main cloud technology in the last 4 years - this is essential
• Must have been a practising Platform engineer in the last 4 year
• Linux administration
• Kubernetes
• Docker
• Hashicorp stack (Terraform, Packer, Consul, Vault, etc)
• Collaboration tools (Git, Jira, Confluence, etc)

Skills:

• Working within an agile context with the use of CI/CD
• Articulate a logical design, and understand how this translates to physical infrastructure
• Experience with defining and working with the constraint of NFRs such as cost, scalability, availability
• The must have skills will determine how well they will be able to integrate into our way of working and
• The principals we use when making strategic and long-term decisions.

Nice to have technologies and experience:

• Dynatrace
• Nginx
• Kafka
• IPv4 Networking
• Software engineering (C/C++/Java/Python/Go/Rust/Node)
• Test automation
• Relational and non-relation data technologies
