This Data Manager opportunity is for someone who is currently working in data and wants to help an organisation understand their data and how it can help a business, rather than just moving it around.
The organisation at hand is a leading company in the Energy sector who are having a massive push on green energy, additionally they have embarked on a journey to become a data driven. They are an established organisation with offices based across Scotland and England. They are at the start of their data journey; therefore, they are looking for an ambitious person with a passion for data management.
As the Data Manager, you with be managing a team of analysts, implementing their new cloud-based data management tool and influencing the entire organisations data management practices. This is a brand-new role for the organisation, which will have you second in command of the growing data team.

Someone who is looking to improve the use of data by working with people
Knowledge and understanding of Data Management Frameworks and methodologies
Data Quality
Data GovernanceIt would be a bonus if you had:
Data Engineering knowledge
ETL/ELT knowledge
