They are looking for a Senior Software Developer to improve and evolve their award-winning software, built using WPF and .Net Framework / .Net 5+, backed by a SQL database.
Senior Software Developer (C# / WPF) – More information and duties:
Working closely with the Lead Developer and QA Analyst, the Senior Software Developer will work across the full development lifecycle, translating user stories into functional applications to design, build and maintain efficient, reusable code.
The development team follow an AGILE methodology with a strong emphasis on collaboration, working towards a common goal by the end of their biweekly sprint. The team are surrounded with exceptional domain knowledge and experience, to support the development of market-leading software. In addition, the department encourages weekly personal development time and training resources, along with in-house mentoring, on the job technical training and technical certifications to ensure your continued growth.
The primary focus of the role is working on new features and products, the Senior Software Developer may also get involved in bug fixes, investigative assistance on support tickets and software to support the business.
Once settled into the role, it is expected that the Senior Software Developer will take a senior role within team projects, running some AGILE sprint and supporting others with any issues they may experience.
Senior Software Developer (C# / WPF) Role Breakdown;
Funtionality Development (80%): Working to enhance the existing software functionality to ensure it remains useful, up to date with developments in the market and meets the evolving needs of the customer base.
Bug Fixes and Support Tickets (10%): Working closely with the Support Team to fix bugs or deal with complex back-end software issues.
Personal Development (10%): Dedicating time to enhancing technical ability every week.
