Safety Manager

Akkodis is currently recruiting for a Safety Manager to join our client on a 12 month initial contract, working on some exciting digital products and services, that will shape their future over the next few years!

Role: Safety Manager
Duration: 12 Months
Rate: £650 - £689 per day
Status: Inside IR35
Location: Taunton, with flexible working - approximately 1-2 times per month on site expected

The Safety Manager is responsible for leading and developing the Safety Team and its functions in order to meet business needs now and in the future. This will include:

• Actively managing team and individual staff development.
• Continuous development and refinement of a Safety roadmap in conjunction with senior stakeholders to set out the short and long term delivery of safety management and culture within the organisation.
• The development, operation and continuous improvement of the Safety Management Plan (SMP) which is the policy and procedures for the safety management of all Products, Systems and Services (PSS) that have the potential to cause direct or indirect harm to individuals, property or the environment.
• Organisational delivery against the SMP and agreed roadmap.

Please note this role is an SC Cleared position, however we can consider applications even if you are not cleared. You must be eligible for SC clearance to be considered.
