Senior Lead Infrastructure Engineer - Permanent/Remote

An exciting opportunity to work for a global development consultancy, who's mission is to help low and middle income countries achieve growth and reduce poverty.

Fully remote working with 1 day on site per month - Oxford

Up to £60,000 per annum

Full training in Dynamics 365 will be provided in this role!

The Role:

You will be an experienced senior IT professional reporting to the Global Head of Technology and working with key stakeholders, ensuring a stable, working and best practice infrastructure and application platform.

You will manage, support and strategically drive the corporate infrastructure and Dynamics 365 ERP system which spans many countries and supports nearly five hundred staff.

You will use your knowledge and experience to develop the corporate infrastructure to make it as efficient, robust and stable as possible.

Knowledge and experience of a Microsoft environment, Servers and networking is critical to this role.

Day-to-day responsibilities for this role will include (not exhaustive):

• Support, maintain and monitor the corporate infrastructure and application platform
• Monitor, maintain, develop and report on capacity across components
• Monitor, maintain, develop and report on system availability
• Monitor, maintain, develop and report on system security
• Monitor, maintain, develop and report on backups

Experience

You will have solid experience of:

• delivery of all aspects of infrastructure technology within a medium sized international company
• installing new technologies and releasing change to users
• documenting complex infrastructures
• working on complex technology projects.
• effectively preparing and presenting reports and presentations.
