Product Owner

Company and Culture:

Our client is one of the most well renowned data collecting companies in the world. The company was started in The Netherlands, and they specialize in gathering and exploiting geographical data on both land and sea. This data is mainly used by construction companies, with the purpose of building long lasting infrastructure: roads, bridges, metro lines. The company is active in over 50 countries, and has a team of over 9000 people working globally.

Because the company is doing business globally, there is a constant information exchange between departments, but also, people exchange between offices. What I mean is that the company's employees travel between multiple offices constantly (one day they might be in Ireland, another in Canada), and they need to log which expenses they have used. Currently, the company has 2 different applications to track the expenses. One is used by the employees themselves logs their expenses, and then HR has to transfer that information into the second application, that tracks and calculates the invoices. Therefore, there is a need to make the 2 used applications collaborate between each other. Hence, the company is in need of an experienced product manager that will facilitate the merge of information between the applications.

Your responsibilities:

• Design the roadmaps for the applications used internally
• Gather business requirements from the BAs, and translate them into technical instructions for the engineering team
• Build APIs
• Create the functional design of the applications

Requirements:

• 2-5 years' experience in a similar role (Business Analyst, Product Owner, Project Manager)
• Experience with ERP implementations and change management
• Strong affinity with high level software
