Salary: £55,000 - £65,000

Location: Hybrid (Suffolk)

Are you an experienced IT security professional, looking for a new challenge in your career? Do you have demonstrable experience with web application and penetration testing? Have you got knowledge and experience in Cyber Essentials? Do you have an excellent understanding of ISO27001? Interested in working for start-up company that is the first of its kind, with a 32 hour working week and no salary sacrifice? If so, I have a fantastic opportunity for you!

I'm looking to speak with individuals who are CISSP, OSCP, Crest or TigerScheme certified. You will have a strong understanding of a number of penetration techniques. You have the ability to communicate with stakeholders of all technical capabilities and a desire to shape the role from day one and grow a team.

Key Responsibilities

Work with a diverse group of clients and assess their requirements and offer a solution to meet their needs

Carry out infrastructure and web application penetration tests

Conduct assessments for Cyber Essentials Plus

Perform research on education-specific technologies and environments

Produce quality reports on all tests, assessments and research

Recognise improvements to technology, processes and ways of working to enhance security

Assist with the design and implementation of new and existing infrastructure and software products to ensure security is always at the forefront of the teams thinking

The Ideal Candidate

CISSP, Crest, OSCP or TigerScheme certified

Excellent communicator with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Passionate about promoting a security-first culture

Excellent understanding of a variety of penetration techniques from infrastructure to web and cloud technologies

Capable of adapting in a changing environment, with an ability to influence others to do the same

Knowledge of Cyber Essentials and ISO27001

Desired experience with:

Tenable Nessus Vulnerability Assessment Tools

Kali Linux

Cobalt Strike Threat Emulation

Greenbone Vulnerability Assessment Tools
