Project Manager/Delivery Manager - Software/Platform Implementation - Financial Services

Hybrid working with 3 days per week in either London or Edinburgh

Salary: £60,000 to £70,000

We are working on behalf of a Financial Technology software provider who are seeking a Project Manager to be responsible for the end-to-end management of projects - this could either be the delivery of a single large scale project or multiple smaller projects. This is a very client facing role and requires the ability to build strong relationships with customers, often at a very senior level.

You will be leading a distributed project team in multiple locations and overseeing the whole project life cycle.

Role/Duties:

• manage the delivery of the project through the full project life cycle, from initiation through to implementation
• ensure the project delivers in-line with the SDLC
• create and maintain an end-to-end project plan
• be actively involved in the delivery of each project by coordinating the day-to-day running of each project
• maintaining accurate project status and project financial reporting for the entire project team
• identify and managed risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies
• manage all operational readiness activities
• lead, manage and motivate a team in multiple geographic locations

To be considered for the role you must have:

• financial services experience preferably investment/wealth/life and/or pensions products
• proven experience in leading the delivery of business critical software/platform implementation projects
• experience of managing stakeholders to executive levels
• an understanding of FS regulations
• proven experience of working in a fast-paced project environment
