Model Validation Manager

Based in the West Midlands we have an excellent opportunity for a Model Validation Manager to join a leading name within the FS sector.

You would play a key role in ensuring risk models are implemented in accordance with specifications and conforming to industry regulations.

The role can be home-based with occasional visits to the head office in the West Midlands.

The Role:

You will be required to ensure the data used in model building and ongoing monitoring/validation conforms with the requirements of the Model Risk Policy.

You'll ensure Model Risk governance documents are kept up to date, reflective of current practice, and maintained in accordance with Policy Governance. You will also ensure models represent the visibility of weaknesses and limitations, including any mitigants and potential impacts.

Key Skills/Experience Required:

• Proven experience in model validation/oversight or model development.
• Data Analysis experience gained within an audit, risk, or compliance function.
• Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical users.
