Remote/Hybrid working - Inside IR35

Our client, a global organisation who have headquarters near Gatwick have an opportunity for a contract ServiceNow Developer to join on an initial 6 month contract. The role requires someone with experience in a similar ServiceNow development position and who can manage and support ServiceNow in a multi-national organisation.

Skills required:

• ServiceNow Administrator (required)
• ITIL Foundation in IT Service Management (required)
• The design of large and/or complex ServiceNow configurations and modifications from supplied specifications using agreed standards and tools, to achieve a well engineered result.
• Testing techniques used to plan and execute software tests of all application components (functional and non-functional) to verify that the software satisfies specified requirements and to detect errors. Examples: dynamic testing techniques, static testing techniques, non-functional testing techniques, test automation techniques.
• The application of automated systems to the support of specific business functions or processes. Increasingly a DEVOPS approach is taken where development and operational staff work together.
• Knowledge of the IT/IS infrastructure (hardware, databases, public/private cloud, operating systems, intelligent SAN,.aaS, Middleware/SOA, local area networks, Lan, WLan, Wi-Fi etc) and the IT applications and service processes used within the organisation, including those associated with sustainability and efficiency including virtualisation, re-use/sharing, and closed loop strategies.
• Techniques for identifying, gathering and validating customers needs in the delivery of IT services.
• The activities, structure, and position in the organisation of the functions or departments for which services are provided. Examples: sales, engineering, marketing, production, accounting and administration.
• The economics of service delivery such as the cost per service line in terms of hardware, software, and manpower used to deliver the service.
• The purpose and composition of a service level agreement (SLA); the relationship between an SLA, an OLA and an underpinning contract for the supply of services.
