Interviewing now for a Linux Admin for a permanent role based in Portsmouth. You will be primarily based on Linux across different network layers to support the Infrastructure that provides the Engineering teams with allocation of processing, storage and memory for complex simulation activities. You will also maintain applications on these infrastructures including incident and request management and maintenance of applications.

Your role will include:

Applications Support (Installation, upgrades,) provision of HPC resources (Mainly for System Eng. eg, Matlab.) Infrastructure administration (Red Hat Linux/Kickstart/VM Ware Systems.) System updates (Applications, Middleware and Database.)

Skills

• Linux operating systems experience, Red Hat, VM Ware, Centos, AIX and NET APP.
• Networking across Linux, Active Directory experience
