My client, a leading IT services company who are working with a large banking company require a contract Scala Developer to join on an initial 6 month contract (with extensions). The pay is circa £500/day inside IR35, you will be required to work onsite in Glasgow 3 days a week.
Key skills:
- Developing in Scala and working in a fast paced agile environment developing features planned as part of a roadmap
- Designing, creating, and maintaining Scala-based applications
- Spring, MVC, Rest API Services, Hibernate
- HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, JSON, AJAX
- Junit and Test Driven Development
- Participating in all architectural development tasks related to the application.
- Writing code in accordance with the app requirements
