Senior Software Engineer (Python, Java, Scala, Go or C++) - FTSE100 Organisation - Fully Remote

A FTSE100 organisation requires an experienced Software Engineer to join their team on a contract basis.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate strong foundations in coding principles, create low-level algorithms and solve complex problems efficiently
• Work as part of a team developing Back End applications within agile methodology
• Effectively use tools and ingenuity to identify and fix defects before they become a problem
• Collaborate on and contribute to architectural plans
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure requirements are met to the highest standards

Experience:

• Extensive experience in 1 or more of the following: Python, Golang, Java, C/C++, C# or Scala
• Experience of building Microservices/Rest APIs inclding any exposure to working with Kubernetes or Docker
• Experience with cloud technologies (AWS or Azure)
• Ideally a MSc or PhD degree in Engineering, Computer Science or other technical related field
