FIX Protocol Scripting Support Analyst - Investment Bank

Financial/banking experience a must.

Essential skills:
Scripting (Python, Shell, SQL ) and development skills for administration, monitoring and support tools
Knowledge of FIX protocol
Knowledge of Broadway Technology TOC product
Knowledge of Azul Zing product
Knowledge of ITRS Geneos monitoring systems
Good network and Firewall infrastructure understanding
Good understanding of multicast messaging in a Tibco RendezVous environment
Ability to analyse network captures
Project management skills to deliver medium scale projects

The team is split between London, Mumbai & New York.

• They provide technical support for all Back End components- 800 application Servers (Windows & Linux).
• The team also manages connectivity to many electronic trading venues (EBS, Reuters FX Matching, Currenex, CBOE-HotSpot, LMAX, Euronext FastMatch, Bloomberg, MOEX) and external clients.
• Looking for someone with strong technical skills; system administration, network captures, someone with good Scripting skills (python), experience with Middleware tools (TIBCO Rendezvous- desirable), familiarity with databases.
• Looking for someone that understands this is electronic engineering - having to learn an application at an in depth level, providing support, engineering new systems, deployment. Involved in new infrastructure releases.
