Application Production Engineer Vendor Applications Investment Banking.

We are looking for an experienced Application Production Engineer to join the Fixed Income Support team for top Tier European Bank. ION is nice to have but not an essential skill.

The team is responsible for supporting vendor applications including the ION platform, globally for our Fixed Income products, which include rates, credit and emerging markets. Project work features heavily within this role.

The biggest activity is ION but they also support other vendors and internal applications.

This is a 3rd line support team.

Candidate needs to understand:-

• operating systems- Linux, Windows.
• Understand connectivity, Servers, networks (Firewalls).

Must have Scripting skills- python preferred.

Really want someone that is heavily infrastructure based.

They don't necessarily need to have business/product knowledge.

Inside IR% of time in the office
