We are engaged with a Glasgow based Fintech who are looking to take on a Development Manager as they continue to grow their tech team. Based out of their state-of-the-art tech hub in Glasgow they are working on a number of greenfield initiatives - low latency and analytics are key areas for them.

The successful candidate will have strong management, coaching and mentoring skills and will have a keen interest in software development and technology. Excellent communication skills, conflict resolution and setting goals and objectives will also be essential skills for this position.

Skills/Experience Required

• Strong line management experience - 121, performance reviews, personal development etc.
• Experience of development or an understanding of the software development life cycle.
• Experience of software development and knowledge of Java, Python or PHP
• Knowledge of Agile principles and CI/CD process
• Excellent communication, conflict resolution, prioritisation and organisation skills are essential.
• Good knowledge of best practices and have strong troubleshooting, problem solving and "out of the box" thinking.
