My client, a manufacturing company based in Castleford, are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Executive/Call Taker to join their growing business.

This position is a pure customer service position and you will be responsible for handling a large amount of phone calls on a daily basis. On busy days my client can take up to 700 calls in one day so you must be comfortable with speaking to people on the phone as well as being adept at handling enquiries in a fast and professional manner either resolving the enquiry yourself or passing it on to the right team within the business.

You may have experience working in a busy call centre which is desirable but not essential. However, you must have experience working with customers over the phone, taking a large volume of calls and working in a busy, fast paced environment.

This position is offered on a full or part time basis. For a full time position the hours would be 9am - 6pm on a daily basis. For part time my client would consider either a morning (9am to 1.30pm) or afternoon (1.30pm to 6pm) shift or a split week working 2.5 days per week.
