Business Analyst (Underwriting, Non-Life)

Please note that for this role, relocation to Switzerland is required. We can only hire EU-27 citizens or candidates with an existing Swiss working permit/citizenship.

For one of our clients in the insurance industry, we are currently looking for a Business Analyst (Underwriting, Non-Life)

- Start date: ASAP
- Duration: 12 months
- Location: Zurich (WFH 50%, on-site 50%)

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison between the business/product owners and the development team
• Run virtual workshops with our corporate customers and internal stakeholders
• Co-create/lead the business process and technical solution designs, create user stories, define new capabilities, and support the testing
• Support customer onboarding to our market-facing Portal
• Document business solution concepts and integration overviews

Essentials Skills and Qualifications

• 4+ years of Business Analyst experience
• Solid understanding of web portals used by customers and brokers
• Ability to develop and explain concepts to various stakeholders
• Collaborative and team-focused mindset with the ability to build rapport and working relationships across the organization
• Good skills and knowledge of facilitation, conflict resolution, continuous improvements, increasing transparency
• Insurance domain knowledge
• Working experience in agile project methodologies
• Very good English skills are a must, written and spoken

Desired Skills and Qualifications

• Previous experience with Jira, Confluence, Mural as a plus
• BA certification or similar
