Support Financial Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Lead a complete review of the Group's reconciliations processes and systems with a view to automating as much as possible.
• Lead a team of 3
• Manage BAU for daily and monthly reconciliations whilst creating space for the team to deliver the required process transformation with the support of process excellence
• Explain priorities to team and obtain buy in that team will aim to deliver these priorities
• Agree clear and concise goals for each team member
• Team are cross trained to provide cover
• Support team in achieving goals
• Documented 1:1 meetings and PDPs for all team members

Appropriate Governance and Controls in place

• Introduce a weekly KPI reporting template to cover
• Number of reconciliations completed/outstanding by business line
• Number of outstanding items to be investigated with trend v prior week
• Number of processes documented

Requirements:

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA/AAT qualification
• Reconciliations skills are a must due to the high volume of accounts
• Excel skills are a must
• Autorek experience would be desirable- not essential
