Oracle BI Consultant

Our client in the Research industry is hiring for a Oracle BI Consultant (OBIA/ODI)

The role is a 12 Month Contract paying £450-550 per day. This is an immediate start from January.

Responsibilities -

• Test, implement and document BI systems
• Evaluate existing data-collecting and analytics systems
• Build predictive models and machine-learning algorithms

Requirements -

• Must have recent and a strong vertical in OBIEE, OBIA 11g and ODI (11g/12c)
• Demonstrable track record of designing and delivering at least 2 OBIA (at least with ODI) & OBIEE full project life cycles
• Design and development of ETL interfaces using Oracle Data Integrator, with Oracle BI Applications context
• Knowledge of OBIA pre-built content and deep experience with customising/extending OBIA pre-built content of different modules
• ODI expertise in Topology, Knowledge Modules, Change data capture and Metadata management
• An ability to design and deliver solutions for OBIEE and multiple OBIA modules
• Experience of implementing OBIEE/OBIA using Oracle eBusiness Suite data source
• Experience in configuring OBIEE/OBIA security (Authentication and Authorization Object level and Data level security)
• Knowledge, understanding and experience of OBIA (7.9.6+) implementations with Informatica and DAC
• Experience building reports and template using Oracle Business Intelligence Publisher (BI Publisher)
• OBIA upgrade experience is an advantage

The client is based in Swindon, however the candidate is only required to go into the office once a week (ideally Wednesday) for the first 4 weeks and then the candidate can be fully remote.
