Senior Java Developer

Senior Java Developer - Main responsibilities:

• Work on the clarification and implementation of requirements and acceptance criteria in an Agile environment
• Where required, demonstrate software to user representatives and other project stakeholders
• Help to write and maintain suitable testing
• Liaise closely with other project team members; including test, documentation and business analysis
• Organise your time and communicate effectively with the team
• Plan and prioritise work to meet deadlines
• Adapt quickly and effectively to change

Senior Java Developer - Key Skills:

• Development using Java 7/8 in a Windows IDE environment
• Knowledge of software application design in an Agile environment
• Use of techniques and profiling tools to improve performance
• Use of continuous integration environments, particularly using Jenkins
• Use of code repositories such as SVN
• Development using application frameworks such as Spring

Senior Java Developer - Salary & Benefits:

• Basic salary up to £65,000
