We are seeking an experienced Contract Data Architect/Engineer to work on a number of key initiatives with our clients Data Analytics and Insights team who provide a centralised data reporting and analytics service across the business.

Main responsibilities

• Create and execute an end-to-end vision for how a design might translate into physical databases, and how to integrate disparate sources of data
• Create and maintain existing data pipelines
• Work in partnership with the wider business functions Building scalable solutions
• Automating manual processes
• Take a lead in complex business challenges

Essential Requirements

• 5+ years hands on experience as an ETL/DWH developer with strong knowledge in designing, developing, and delivering end-to-end data integration processes for large scale data warehouses.
• Strong working knowledge of the Mircosoft technical stack.
• Experience in design, development and deployment of data warehouses or relational/analytical/multi-dimensional data marts
• Knowledge of general data engineering principles and data architecture.
• Good planning and organising skills with ability to work to tight deadlines.
• Strong service delivery ethic with a focus on quality, competency and accuracy.
• Strong communicator who is able to translate and adapt message for different stakeholder groups including technical and non-technical audiences.
