Role

We are seeking a IT professional with significant experience working as a Solution Designer or Solution Architect to be responsible for delivering high level designs. You will support the strategic and architectural direction of the banks digital platform, ensuring designs are effectively evaluated considering best practice. The digital solutions will be working across many different technologies including cloud, Java, microservices, mobile applications etc. You will need expertise in any particular technology but a breadth of experience working with different technologies is preferred.

You will be responsible for mentoring designers and other technology colleagues.

Key skills and experience

• Experience working as a Solution Designer or Solution Architect
• Experience working to Agile methodologies eg Safe, Kanban, Scrum
• Breadth of technical awareness of digital technologies
• Exposure to cloud technologies, Java, Microservice, Mobile applications would be advantageous
