Business Development Manager - SAAS, Fintech, Ed Tech - Hybrid London

New BD Manager - SAAS, Fintech, EdTech, Professional Services - Hybrid, London (2-4 times a month)

Due to expansion, a Leading Technology solutions business with a global network of nearshore and offshore centres is looking to hire two New Business Managers to join their team in order to win new business and help them to continually grow.

This role requires someone who is passionate about technology and curious about business improvement. You will have worked within a SAAS environment with, ideally a focus around one or more of the following sectors; FinTech, EdTech, Professional Services.


  • Build strong, trusting relationships with key stakeholders
  • Define an effective go-to-market approach to introduce offerings into new customers across a short, mid and long-term timeline
  • Identify targets within agreed sectors, with a view to engaging specific sales approaches.
  • Build a qualified pipeline of sales growth opportunities within the given sector and target base
  • Partner with Marketing team to design, implement and follow-up campaigns
  • Lead pursuit teams to deliver successful sales outcomes
  • Support the definition of sector specific strategies and future growth initiatives, working with the wider market team and colleagues
  • Support Lead Generation with specific initiatives
  • Identify opportunities and requirements that could lead to incremental revenue and resource.

Your background:

  • Considerable experience working in a SAAS New Business Development, in a professional services or client facing environment
  • Consultative Selling experience
  • Passionate about technology
  • Tech-savvy with an affinity for innovative and emerging technology
  • Proven experience in working toward quarterly goals, in a KPI driven environment.
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Advanced presentation skills
  • Negotiation and influencing skills

This role will be mainly based remotely, however there will be a requirement to attend the London office between 2-4 times a month for team meetings.

Salary circa 90-110k + 60% OTE
