IT Support Technician

The Opportunity:
My client are an IT Solutions company enjoying a period of continued growth that are currently looking to hire for a Senior IT Support Technician to help service a number of public sector sites in and around the Cornwall area.
Your work will include both technical support and project work covering an interesting and wide-ranging list of products and services.
You must be able to drive and have a full clean driving license as you will be required to attend client sites. Also you need to be able to speak to members of the public in a no technical manner.
Skills and Experience:
- Microsoft Server Operating Systems & Windows Desktop, Microsoft-Office 365, etc.
- Virtualisation - Hyper-V, Hyper-V Cluster, etc.
- Experience working with Firewalls and TCP/IP Networking
- Dell SANs and Storage, plus use of common backup and disaster recovery software
- Switching and Wi-Fi knowledge. Other valuable skills include IP Telephony/SIP/3CX
- Microsoft Teams - Direct Routing
- Endpoint security products/Intune
