We are currently looking on behalf of one of our important clients for an C/C++ Embedded Linux Software Developer. The role is permanent position based in Zürich Canton & comes with good home office allowance.
Your role:
- Create & further develop software platform extensions based on Linux.
- Collaborate & regularly exchange with internal & external SW developers to create application interfaces & services.
- Closely cooperate with other project teams within an interdisciplinary environment.
- Review software requirement documents & source code
- Utilize modern software concepts whilst consistently considering reusability.
- Independently develop solutions.
- Ensure quality & participate in reviews.
- Maintain, further develop, optimize internal tools for development & testing.
Your Skills & Profile:
- At least 3 years of professional experience in Embedded Software Development, ideally including within industrial high-tech environments.
- An in-depth knowledge of C/C++ Programming & Embedded Linux Software Development.
- You have a passion for clean code and pragmatic, elegant design.
- Any experience in Embedded Security is considered a plus.
Your Profile:
- University Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar.
- Enthusiastic, pragmatic & quality-oriented.
- Fluent English (spoken & written), German language skills are a big plus.
