Java Tech lead -Fintech Unicorn

Our client is a British Fintech Unicorn with 700 + employess and $1bn funding. You will be the Agile Squad Lead on a core product that is the first of it's kind in the world.

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership at a Back End design, engineering level, working in a cross functional environment.

• Lead Squads Of Backend engineers for all the sprints.

• Being an escalation point and subject matter expert for Back End technical engineering with the ability to be hands on and also mentor more junior engineers

Key Job Requirement:

• Advanced level of any of these languages: JAVA, Kotlin, Python and Spring Boot

• Good experience as a lead developer delivering project work, mentoring team members, delegating work and ensuring development standards and practices

• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to interact with non-technical members of staff in a cross-functional team.

• Strong experience with CI/CD tools - Jenkins and AWS with the ability to build and manage pipelines.
