Senior Network Engineer - Managed Service - £40,000 - £50,000 - Office Based
Overview:
A highly reputable organisation are currently looking to for a Network Specialist. As a Network Specialist you will commission, maintain and operate the IT Network Infrastructure and ensure that it continues to meet ongoing business objectives.
The successful candidate will be required to travel to customer sites within the Kent area.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Performing regular network change tasks in line with customer requirements.
Maintain inventory of network hardware and network IP Addressing.
Out of hours and on call duties.
Evaluate, design, plan and implement transformational change to Landmark's network infrastructure.
Essential Skills & Experience:
Data Centre design, migration, implementation and delivery experience.
Extensive experience in configuration of Cisco Routers and Switches.
Strong knowledge of routing protocols such as BGP, EIGRP and OSPF
Strong knowledge of switching protocols such as STP, CDP, LLDP, QoS, VLAN/VxLAN
Ideally certified in CCNP or working towards CCNP level certification
