A well-known nonprofit organisation has offices in Brighton and is seeking an IT Manager to support the Technology operations.

Your new role

The position's responsibilities include management of the company's overall IT services as well as operational activities and oversight.

You will be involved in:

• Upkeep and management of the businesses Servers.
• Install and setup new gear, such as printers, laptops, and other devices.
• Make that user data is protected with sufficient security and integrity.
• Ensure that new hires are properly trained on IT practises and procedures and give training for new initiatives.
• To maintain and upgrade card machines and tills, such as Fidelity and Barclaycard, for the company's workers and commercial outlets.
• To make buying suggestions and decisions that are within the parameters of the IT Budget.
• Provide instruction on typical problems, IT-related plans, and the network.
• To actively participate in the Management team.

What you'll need to succeed

It is essential that the post holder has/is:

• Experience managing a budget and making value-based purchase decisions.
• Experience supervising IT support.
• Knowledge of providing IT-related advice in a function, either as a line manager or inside an IT department .
• A track record of overseeing one or more projects.
• Strong knowledge of GDPR and Data Protection Strong knowledge of GDPR and Data Protection .
• Line management experience.
• ITIL certification.
