Java Developer - Contract - Inside IR35 - Investment Management

Global Financial Services Firm is hiring for a Contract Core Java Developer with Investment/Asset Management experience for a 6-9 month Contract based in the City with rates paying between £490 - £600 per day Inside IR35 via an Umbrella. This role is based in London and requires at least 3 days working in their London office and 2 days working from home.

You will be responsible for all phases of development. You will ideally have over 6 years Full Stack Core Java experience, ideally with a background in Investment Management )ideally in Portfolio Management or Quantitative experience). Experience of working with Java Swing, Agile, TDD (Cucumber, Azure DevOps), and any APIs or Messaging experience. Ideally hold a STEM Degree in Computer Science/Engineering. It would be an added advantage if you had any experience of Aladdin, Equities, Fixed Income, ESG or Angular/C++.
