Major Incident Manager
6 Month Contract - Inside IR35 - Circa £450 per day
Bradford, West Yorkshire - Hybrid - 2 days in the office per week
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Major Incident Manager to join a FTSE 250 business currently undergoing a major transformation programme.
The Major Incident Manager will be responsible for translating technical issues into effective communications for senior stakeholders, as well as coaching and developing less experienced incident resources.
Reporting into the Service Operations Manager, the Major Incident Manager will also be tasked with implementing continual improvement plans, leading daily service reviews within IT, and enforcing agreed Incident standards.
Major Incident Manager - Key Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a dedicated Major Incident Manager role
- Significant experience working within highly regulated environments
- Strong ITIL experience
- Experience working closely with external suppliers and service providers
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills at all levels
- Any experience within Service Management will also be beneficial
- Highly organised and able to work effectively under pressure
This role will be based out of the clients head office in Bradford. They have a hybrid working policy, with the Major Incident Manager expected to be in the office 2 days per week on average.
