Finance Assistant Contract Opportunity - ACTIVE SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED

• 3-6 month contract
• London based
• Hybrid working model, 2/3 days' in office
• Urgent hire - 1 stage interview
• Active SC Clearance required
• £200-£250 per day outside IR35

Roles and Responsibilities Include:

To contribute to oversight and provide day to day financial management across the four building safety remediation funds (PSCRF, SSCRF, BSF and SSBSF) to include:

Day to day monitoring of spend against profile, highlighting risks and issues, contributing to reporting to governance structures on financial position against forecast.

Monthly updates on 22/23 financial forecasts (spend profiled per month up to the end of the financial year) and supporting narrative

Accrual information at the end of each month (where spend has been incurred but payments have not yet been made by the department) and supporting evidence.

Regular updates on in-year and lifetime financial forecasts and actual expenditure, including accrual information. This requires working with stakeholders such as delivery partners to analyse management information to understand financial liabilities which have been incurred

A definitive understanding of budgets and all historic spend to date split by financial year for financial reporting.

Provision of ad-hoc information required by department's finance
