Product Owner

Product Owner - Commodity Trading - London - Contract (initial 6 months inside ir35)

Cititec have partnered with a global commodity trading firm who are on the search for a Product Owner to establish requirements and lead the implementation of a strategic valuation system across trading desks and Front Office Risk.

Joining the Quant Engineering team, the successful candidate will also lead the process and control aspects of the valuation delivery whilst bringing together multiple project streams; and to deliver a solution that is fast, responsive, bespoke, and flexible.

Experience required:

• Experience working in a trading environment is essential
• Extensive experience designing and implementing software solutions in transactional and risk management systems
• To have clear experience working as a Product Owner
• Ideally to have an understanding of commodity trading and trade instrument types
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Prior experience working with technical development teams
• To be able to translate complex functional requirements and designs to technical teams
