Senior Security Operations Engineer
Location: Berlin/Stockholm (Hybrid)
Salary: €90,000 - €110,000 + Benefits

One of the most innovative European FinTech's are kicking off a major build out of their internal Cyber Security capability. They have revolutionised the way E-commerce and payment are managed across the globe creating a whole new industry.

They are building out a complex technical security capability, including a completely in house operations function. As a Senior Security Engineer, you will act as the technical lead of a team of engineers covering deployment of tools, automation, creation and advanced incident response.

What you will do:

• Design, build and deploy security tooling across the cloud native infrastructure, mitigating complex security incidents.
• Provide in depth analysis on the most complex incidents, acting as support system for more junior members of the security team.
• Play a key role in security operations functions such as threat intelligence and management of SIEM, WAF and EDR tools.
• Consistent innovation of process and tooling through automation of rules and analysis capabilities.

What you will have:

• In depth experience working in a senior role within an internal security operations function, or MSP environment.
• Practical experience of designing and implementing use cased for security monitoring platforms.
• Strong knowledge of cloud native environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience in managing or monitoring a variety of security platforms including but not limited too SIEM, SOAR, EDR, XDR etc.

This role will allow you to have a huge influence over the way the security function operations for a globally recognised SaaS company. You will work with some highly respected security leaders to create a security function that will allow the organisation to dominate in the space.
