Jumar Solutions is helping a collaborative company recruit a skilled and dedicated Cloud Engineer to join their welcoming and friendly team. This Full time cloud engineering role comes with an attractive salary of £60k-£70k and a fantastic benefits package.

As an attentive and talented Cloud Engineer, you will use a Continuous Delivery methodology that applies automation wherever possible to orchestrate and deploy software internally and externally. As the company grows, this practice of managing and transitioning software assets can benefit from new tooling for software orchestration, continuous integration and automation.

In your first few weeks in this cloud engineering job, you can expect to:
  • Support and maintain the company's cloud infrastructure and architecture
  • Perform disaster recovery (DR) and failover testing on the company's cloud systems to test the build quality of service continuity
  • Support and maintain the company's AWS and Azure Cloud services
  • Provide end-to-end assistance for the projects, liaising with project managers and technical architects and filling the technical gaps between them
  • Be responsible for capacity planning and proposing the required resources to existing virtual infrastructure


To apply for this Cloud Engineer role, you will need experience and knowledge of MS Azure, AWS and Private Clouds to build, test and support various applications and series.

You will also require the following:

  • System administration and configuration management skills within an AWS and Azure environment
  • Knowledge of Vmware, Windows Server and SQL Servers
  • An ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience
  • Experience working on technical projects within a team
  • Working knowledge of unix-like operating systems such as Linux
