Up to £70,000 per annum + 17% bonus, Car allowance and profit share

Due to expansion, an exciting opportunity has arisen to join a household name in the retail sector in a Data Engineering role.

This role is fully remote working, with the odd day in the office on the south coast. The company are renowned for their outstanding working culture and highly generous benefits package and will provide any new hires with plenty of progression and upskilling opportunities.

Responsibilities will include:

• Analysis, design, build and repeatable testing of tools, frameworks and delivery for data transformation, data migrations and other data services artefacts.
• Documenting the data processing logic according to agreed documentation standards. This is to include requirements, solutions, reconciliation, execution, reporting, low level ETL logic as well as other surrounding data services artefacts or infrastructure.
• Understanding business data requirements and seamlessly convert these into real solutions which can be utilised across the organisation.
• Working with the delivery team and data team providing advice and guidance to help size effort, value and create great designs.
• Creating open communication channels with stakeholders to inform, update and build trust and respect by creating strong relationships.

Essential skills required:

• A solid knowledge of cloud technologies (Preferably Azure)
• Python/Pyspark
• Databricks
• SQL
• ETL
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
