Role: Tech Lead

Location: West London (visit the office 1-2 times per month)

Salary: £80-85k (flex DOE) + 20% bonus

Globally recognised brand in aviation that is modernising and migrating their Legacy stack into new. They're grown consistently over the last few years and are continuing to invest heavily in their technology function.

The role:

Looking for a Tech Lead to head up a small development team (circa 5 heads) - you'll both line manage and provide technical leadership. This is a role for problem-solvers; the business will come to you with various challenges and ask you to design and deliver a technical solution with your team. You won't be measured on the code you produce, though you'll role up your sleeves to help your team as needed.

About you:

You come from a software engineering background, ideally Java, C++ or Python however we're open to various stacks. For your next role, you're looking to step into more architecture, leadership, and strategic responsibilities (even if this would be a new challenge for you). To design and deliver solutions, you'll work closely with both technical and non-technical colleagues, so you'll be comfortable communicating technical jargon into plain English.
