In your first week in this Java Developer role, you can expect to:
- Make a significant contribution to the design and development of a scalable, containerised, event-driven cloud-hosted enterprise application
- Participate in the agile Scrum process, delivering planned sprint work to the Definition of Done
- Leverage the utility and flexibility of the Spring Framework and Spring Boot to create modern and secure microservices
- Utilise the Hazelcast in-memory data grid to facilitate cluster-wide operations and data storage
To apply for this Software Engineer role, you will need the following:
- Extensive experience in a Java software development role enhancing a multi-user web-based commercial software product
- Experience in the development of web interfaces, especially JavaScript/AJAX frameworks and Web Services/REST/XML/JSON
- Solid experience of Scrum and associated agile development processes and methodologies
- Experience developing cloud services using AWS
