Linux Systems Engineer (Red Hat Redhat Linux Systems Engineer Administrator High Performance Computing High Availability Low Latency C++ VB Python Java Bash Korn Bourne Shell Trading Front Office Engineering Finance Financial Services Investment Banking Asset Management Hedge Fund Remote) role required by our Fixed Income trading software client in London.

You MUST have the following:

• Expert experience as a Linux Systems Administrator/Engineer
• Advanced ability at maintaining Linux environments for high-availability, low-latency computing
• Excellent Scripting ability in two or more of the following: C++, VB, Python, Java, Bash, Korn, Bourne, Shell
• Good exposure to Front Office trading environments and engineering teams

The following is DESIRABLE, not essential:

• Experience working for a trading software vendor or hedge fund

Role: Linux Systems Engineer (Red Hat Redhat Linux Systems Engineer Administrator High Performance Computing High Availability Low Latency C++ VB Python Java Bash Korn Bourne Shell Trading Front Office Engineering Finance Financial Services Investment Banking Asset Management Hedge Fund Remote) role required by our Fixed Income trading software client in London. You will work in a team of 3 that are responsible for maintaining the high-availability, low-latency Linux environment of this trading software client. This is a highly-bespoke high-performance computing set-up. A large portion of the estate is Red Hat although there are other flavours of Linux too.

You will join this team to maintain the production environment, collaborating with engineering teams around upgrades, releases, problems and fixes. You will be accustomed to working in a high-performance environment. You will feel comfortable in coding and Scripting across a number of languages including some of the following: VB, C++, Python, Shell, Java, Bash, Korn, Born.

You will come from a hedge fund, asset manager, bank or trading software vendor.

This role does not require attendance into the office except on rare occasions. You can be 100% remote in this role.

Salary and Package: £140- 200k + £80k Cash Bonus + Pension
