Are you an experienced finance professional looking for a new challenge? Do you have a strong understanding of ERP systems, particularly Sage X3, and the ability to provide technical support for these systems? Do you have a track record of driving process improvement and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation?

As the Finance Systems & Processes Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the end-to-end finance operating model, as well as managing and developing finance systems and tools. You will have ownership of the Sage X3 data and audit process, and will lead the analysis, development, and implementation of new business processes that drive service excellence and cost efficiencies. You will also be responsible for interfacing with various teams, including finance, business leads, IT, and third-party service providers, to drive continuous improvement across all aspects of finance.

This role will pay anything up to £75,000 plus benefits and be based in newly refurbished and very modern offices near Preston, Lancashire (with very flexible hybrid working)

In this Finance Systems & Processes Manager role, you will need to have strong communication and presentation skills, and be able to build relationships and engage with employees at all levels. You should also be proactive and self-directed, with the ability to manage your workload effectively and identify risks, issues, and solutions as needed. Some travel between UK offices might also be required.

You will also need a very strong mixture of the following skills and experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in an analytical or technical role
  • Experience implementing, maintaining, improving ERPs (eg Sage X3/SAP/Oracle)
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly MS Excel, and experience with SQL or reporting tools
  • Extensive experience of system configuration and working with complex data sets including data cleansing
  • Experience working within Continuous Improvement function of large organisations.
  • Experience working within a Finance team or supporting Finance driven improvements.
  • Experience presenting to senior level and C-suite management using a variety of written, verbal, and graphical means.
  • ACCA, CIMA or similar finance qualification would be desirable but is not essential
