.NET Software Developer

Surrey - Remote/Hybrid - Permanent

Our client a leading insurance company are rapidly expanding! They're now looking for another Software Developer to join the team on a permanent basis to focus on supporting the Back End software development requirements from across the business. The role would typically suit someone with between 6 - 18 months experience who is looking to capitalise on their existing knowledge by applying it in a new environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Analysing user requirements
• Contributing to the development of company software solutions
• Writing high quality code, consistent with company standards and best practices
• Using appropriate testing processes to ensure software behaves as expected
• Maintaining systems by monitoring and correcting software defects
• Pro-actively building knowledge and skills to ensure up-to-date understanding of the technologies and methodologies utilised by the company

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject (or equivalent) or other relevant software development qualifications. Experience will be considered where technical knowledge can be demonstrated.
• At least 1 year of demonstrable experience of software development, ideally focusing on C# and .Net.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to problem solve
• Ability to use own initiative, self-motivated with a desire to learn new skills and technologies
