Strategic Commissioning Manager

Duration: 3-6 months
Daily Rate: £425-£525 (Dependent on experience and seniority)
Panoramic Associates are working with a Local Authority based in the South East of England by supporting the recruitment of a Commissioning Manager for an initial 3-6-month assignment.
As part of your role, you will be directly responsible for carrying out the commissioning cycle, whilst keeping a commercially minded approach to the commissioning and procurement processes. As an interim, you will be expected to integrate as part of the team to help bring colleagues along with you and aid the process of recruiting for the future permanent member of staff.
Key experienced required
• Commissioning within services such as All Age Disabilities, Better Care Fund, Supported Living and Communities
• Extensive knowledge of procurement and contract management
• Negotiating contracts with new and existing external providers across various sectors
• Maintaining good working relationships with social workers and other health professionals
