My client, one of Europe's largest online retailers, is looking to add a Front End Software Engineer, to their Engineering function. The Role

As a Front End Software Engineer you will be a key member of the engineering team developing E-commerce platforms. You will consistently deliver high quality, clean and highly operable code. You will have support from the Senior engineers and also help support the junior engineers.

Role & Responsibilities

• Carrying out reviews of code
• Contributor to the learning and sharing with the team
• Support of after-hours software deployments (when required)
• Development of high quality, clean and performant code which is built with operability built in by design
• Participate and contribute in technical decision making within your team
• Sharing benefits of particular approaches

About You

• Experienced in Java 8
• Excellent knowledge in E-commerce web development
• Knowledge of web security, catching strategies and content delivery networks
• Understands the testing pyramid, TDD and BDD
• Spring and Hibernate experience
• Knowledge of build tools and dependency management (Ivy, Maven, Gradle)
• Understanding of agile methodologies
