Golang Engineer

The role

With experience as a Golang engineer, you will be working within an exciting, agile team and a fast growing company. You will be responsible for developing a data pipeline to process the IoT data and you will also design services to support apps. Your system needs to hold large IoT data capacity. You should be comfortable working with customers to design solutions that fit their needs as well as oversee the production process. Automated tests will need to be built for production.

CI/CD pipelines will implement different services at different levels. There will be a strong focus on existing and appropriate technologies. When considering DevOps, IaaS will describe infrastructure in terraform. Overall the tech stack is modern and you will work with Google Cloud platform.

About you

You will be a keen Golang developer, who is focused on meeting the needs of the consumer. You should also be motivated to learn and develop constantly. You should have experience of agile processes and you should be flexible on where in the stack you will perform.

You will be an excellent team player and problem-solver. You are a dedicated coder, with experience of delivering impressive code - in this case it will be for automated testing. You also enjoy simplifying systems and are genuinely keen to make a difference for the company and industry.
