My client is looking for a Remote working Infrastructure/EndPoint Security Consultant.

The successful candidate with have knowledge and experience of endpoint, Firewall and checkpoint technologies and will provide Customer facing Infrastructure Security Consulting and Integration Services to both external customers and internal project teams.

Role responsibilities:

  • Understand customers' business to be able to provide technical support and/or leadership in the creation and delivery of technology solutions.
  • Generate and cultivate new business opportunities and by providing technical support for deal proposal development.
  • Create and maintain effective customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and to ensure follow-on sales.
  • Maintain knowledge of leading-edge technologies and industry/market domain knowledge.
  • Actively contribute to Security's solutions portfolio by providing information ranging from technical knowledge to methodologies based on experience gained.
  • Shape technical direction and technical strategies within the organization and for customers
  • Accountable for consistent and significant chargeability levels (or expense relief for internal project teams) and for assisting in meeting or exceeding revenue and customer satisfaction goals whilst maintaining billable chargeability targets.

  • Regularly exercises significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives.
  • Sometimes directs and supervises within area of expertise but does not manage other employees as a primary job function.
  • Leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross functional initiatives.
  • Provide mentoring and guidance to employees at lower job levels.
  • Acts as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies. Frequently represents the organization to external clients.

Desirable Skills and Technologies:

  • Extensive experience in enabling installations and configurations products mapping to the Security portfolio
  • UK Driving license desirable as some travel between Customer sites may be necessary
  • Strong networking skills with experience of configuring complex environments are paramount to this role
  • McAfee, Microtrend/Microsoft endpoint technology
  • Tenable
  • CyberArk
  • Cisco Firewall/IDPS, and Palo Alto, Fortinet Firewall or Checkpoint technologies.
  • Windows/Citrix security infrastructure technologies

Candidate will be required to occasionally go to clients office up to twice a month
