Middleware Lead Consultant

Harris Global are currently on the lookout for a Middleware Lead Consultant based in either Dublin or the UK. This is a contract opportunity working for a leading MSP.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team that will design and deliver infrastructure architecture platforms for which support Middleware platforms
• Understand application requirements through to the design and planning for their delivery
• Communication ability with customers and key stakeholders
• Create high quality designs, and representing the designs at governance review boards, using detailed design templates
• Good knowledge of Middleware platforms and infrastructure - both from a design and operational perspective

Key Skills:

• Experience with networking and load balancing technologies such as F5, NSX-T
• Awareness of security functions such as encryption, key management, and security protocols in order to create compliant designs
• Experience with YAML and API Gateways

Desirable skills:

• Knowledge of Kanban (a mixture of ALM and Rally)
• Understanding of database technologies
• Familiarity of Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Terraform, Unix platforms, Kubernetes and IAAS concepts
• Middleware technologies such as JVM, WebSphere etc.
