Responsibility of/Expectations from the Role

1) Proficient in Java8, with a good knowledge of its ecosystems

2) Solid understanding of object-oriented programming

3) Familiar with various design and architectural patterns

4) Skill for writing reusable Java libraries

5) Familiarity with concepts of Microservices, JDBC, and RESTful

6) Experience with popular web application frameworks

7) Knack for writing clean, readable Java code

8) Experience with both external and Embedded databases

9) Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests

10) Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git

11) Familiarity with build tools such as GIT and Jenkins

Must-Have

• Java 8 & above, Java development, particularly in Spring, Relational databases, REST, Knowledge of git or similar version control system, Jenkins (or similar CI/CD tools), Agile methodology, particularly Kanban, an advantage.

Unix, Python, Banking and Financial Services knowledge, JIRA
