Senior Python/Full Stack/Front-end Developer - Cardiff, UK - Hybrid (Fully Flexible) - Up To £100,000 per annum

As a Senior Python/Full Stack/Front-end Developer, you will be expected to be Full-Stack Developer contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of Front End and Back End software portfolio.

As a Senior Python/Full Stack/Front-end Developer, you will be expected to work on open-source software running on AWS in a Linux environment.

As a Senior Python/Full Stack/Front-end Developer, you will be expected to drive and ensure high-quality programming and technical solutions.

As a Senior Python/Full Stack/Front-end Developer, you will be expected to deliver end-to-end Web, Mobile, and API solutions.

Essential skills and experience:

• Experience using Python programming language, the Django framework, and working with Mobile Apps
• Experience of working on end-to-end engineering delivery for Web, Mobile, and APIs
• Experience maintaining and developing APIs and integrating third-party services
• Strong in Data modelling, data management, and managing data across different environments
• In-depth knowledge of version control (Git)
• Working knowledge of OCR development and OpenCV/Tesseract
• In-depth knowledge of Javascript, HTML, Python, Django, Nginx, and PostgreSQL
• Experience of end-to-end toolchain, including Cyber testing
• Experience of working with Product Owners in an Agile DevOps environment
• In-depth knowledge of Scrum methodology
• Technical leadership and setting technical direction for engineering
• Awareness and Maintenance of Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery methodology

Desirable Experience:

• Experience with AWS and other cloud hosting platforms
• Working as a part of a federated team
• Understanding the implications for security and data protection
• Attention to detail, and strong organisational skills
